The Gamechangers — Documentary worth your time or more vegan BS?

Because documentary doesn’t necessarily equal facts

Seriously, these pieces of vegan propaganda — I refuse to call them documentaries, are becoming tiresome. It’s not enough that we see constant activism by vegans in the news, we now have movies doing their best to convince us that eating eggs is as bad for you as smoking and that gladiators were the peak of physical excellence and because they were called “barley munchers”, we should stop eating meat.

It was bad enough with movies like Cowspiracy and Forks Over Knives, but The Gamechangers takes it to a whole new level, by now claiming that a vegan diet is superior to one that features meat for athletic performance. As you can expect, there so much cherry picked data and tenuous connections (the gladiator example is such a long bow to draw, it would require a giant the size of the Empire State building), it’s not even worth my time to refute everything because a lot of their claims don’t even require scientific knowledge to be debunked, just some basic logic and intelligence.

The most annoying for me though is this constant insistence that everyone needs to change their diet.

This is what happens when anyone cleans up their diet, that it happens when people turn vegetarian is not a revelation or proof that we should all switch.

What’s even more ridiculous about this is the fact that they try to use a handful of elite athletes as proof that it’s a superior diet, while ignoring the fact that all of them have a significant amount of athletes above them in ranking who are eating meat. The strongman is a…
