Ok, it’s Time to Leave Meghan and Harry Alone
There’s a limit to everything
Have you ever seen a fight suddenly erupt between two guys? They’ll often duke it out for a few seconds until one gets a couple of hits in and the other one goes down. If they’re lucky, a couple of people will step in at that point to break things up, and someone with a cool head will say to the guy still standing “ok mate, he’s had enough. Leave him be.”
I feel like we’ve reached this point right now with Harry and Meghan.
If you’ve read my work before on Ginge and Whinge, you’ll know I’m among their harshest critics. I think for the most part it’s absolutely them that’s been in the wrong and the way they’ve acted has been atrocious and insufferable. But now Lizzie is dead and as anyone would expect, they flew home to be a part of the proceedings.
And who could fault them for that?
The media, that’s who. It’s just been constant, wall to wall coverage of them. I’d estimate that 80% of what I’ve seen has been about them, and all of it has sounded about as mature as the shenanigans from the movie Mean Girls. Even worse, one publication had the gall to declare that “even when it’s the death of the longest reigning monarch, Meghan and Harry find a way to make it all about them.”
