More Idiots Quit Twitter
And waste the greatest career opportunity ever…
“Wait, didn’t that already happen?” I hear you ask. Well, that was the initial round of layoffs which affected something like half the employees. In the last day or so, however, a bunch more have quit, following Musk’s sending of an email asking those who remained to work in a more hardcore manner.
Hilariously, as usual, the media are acting like the sky is falling down at Twitter and proclaiming that the entire company is going under. Yes, I’m sure all you idiot journalists who have never so much as run a lemonade stand can forecast the downfall of a business run by the richest guy in history.
But, I digress.
Twitter is not dying, I’m quite sure of it. In a couple of months, all these silly people will be proven wrong, because Musk is not in the business of making foolish mistakes. That can’t be said for the spate of employees who have chosen severance pay and leaving over staying though, because they’ve probably squandered the greatest career opportunity they’re ever going to get…
How many great career opportunities come along for anyone?
If you were in tech and were at Google, Apple, Facebook etc in the early days, you’d be both rich and looked at in awe…
